Agenda
10 am - 10:15 am - (15 min) Welcome and introductions. Overview of the class structure and objectives.
10:15am - 11am - Birth Preparation (1 hr) Topics include: Stages of labor, comfort measures and partner support strategies, pain management techniques (natural and medical options), creating a birth plan.
11am - 11:15 (15 min) SNACK BREAK
11:15am - 12pm - (45 min) Hands-on Portion. Demonstrations and practice. Doula: comfort techniques, rebozo work, labor positioning. Chiropractor: Prenatal adjustments, body alignment for pregnancy, and labor support techniques.
12pm - 12:45pm - (45 min) CPR/First Aid Training led by an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor. Infant and maternal focused CPR and basic first aid essentials.
12:45pm - 1pm - (15 -20 min) Q&A Session and RAFFLE - Open discussion to answer participant questions and clarify any topics. We will also draw the winner for the raffle.

My name is pronounced “HO-SAN-NAH” and I am a doula who is passionate about moms being educated and able to make truly informed decisions when it comes to their pregnancy and birth! Education is the first step to achieving the birth you want! I believe:
